Founded by Rob Bryer and Jake Cullum-Hollins in 2023, built on more than ten years of franchise and travel-industry experience.
Rob and Jake founded The Good Travel Agent in October 2023, following the tremendous success of their previous business, The Good Estate Agent. Over the years, The Good Estate Agent has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs launch and manage their own estate agency businesses, all while working from the comfort of their own homes. This proven model of support and guidance has enabled many individuals to build successful careers without the high overheads and complexities typically associated with running a traditional agency.
Building on this strong foundation, Rob and Jake saw an opportunity to apply their expertise and business model to the travel industry, an area close to their hearts and full of potential. With Jake’s extensive knowledge of the travel sector, having worked in various capacities across the industry, and Rob’s remarkable experience in franchise development and business strategy, they were perfectly positioned to launch The Good Travel Agent. Their shared vision was to create a business that not only offers aspiring travel entrepreneurs a chance to own and operate their own travel agency, but also provides the tools, resources and ongoing support needed to thrive in a competitive industry.
The Good Travel Agent was designed with the goal of making it easier for people across the UK to start their own travel business. The model is centred around providing individuals with everything they need to run a successful agency from home: a proven framework, cutting-edge technology, industry-leading training and continuous mentorship. The aim is to give new business owners the flexibility and independence of working for themselves while benefiting from the stability and support of an established brand.

Highly experienced at crafting the ultimate customer experience, delivering expert-level training, mentoring and creating a truly supportive team environment, Jake champions both the company as a whole and its franchise owners as individuals.
Rob Bryer
Rob brings a wealth of knowledge to The Good Travel Agent, thanks to over ten years’ experience developing hugely successful franchise models.

Kat Freeman
With extensive experience across the travel industry, including travel agency, holiday rep, tour operators, travel insurance and holiday rentals, Kat brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
Kat champions our agents’ individual strengths, tailoring support and training to their needs, and heads up the support team so the day-to-day needs of agents and the business are not only met but exceeded.
Jack Bannister
With over three years of travel-industry knowledge and hands-on experience, Jack brings a genuine passion for creating holidays that customers feel proud to book.
As Agent Support Manager he is our agents’ first port of call for general queries, guidance and reassurance, with a calm, solution-focused approach to every challenge.
